The Clean Plumber Ltd needs to gather and use certain information about individuals by telephone email or through our website

What information does The Clean Plumber collect?

The Clean Plumber collects and processes a range of information about you as follows;

The Clean Plumber has a legitimate interest in processing personal data so that we can perform the contract between us, to register you as a new customer, make appointments, send service reminders, send invoices, manage payments, fees and charges and collect and recover money owed to us .

Who has access to data?

Your information may be shared internally for the purpose of sending invoices or making appointments. This includes the company directors and other admin employees and with engineers for the purposes of attending appointments at your premise.

The Clean Plumber will not share your data with third parties other than:

for the purposes of processing and storing your data where we use Commusoft, Paypal and Gocardless for whom we suggest you consult their privacy policies;

for the purposes of communicating your name and contact details to subcontractors from whom you have requested / will be expecting contact for a specific job not within our immediate remit;

for the purposes of registering warranties on your behalf with goods suppliers or for registering works notifications to relevant bodies such as Gas Safe or Oftec for products that you have purchased.


Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data  unless your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive when we may charge a reasonable fee.  Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
